Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to drive quality through innovation, automated test creation, manual testing, and thoughtful debate

What You'll Be Doing

  • Setting up, maintaining, and extending test automation frameworks and tools to enhance our software and hardware components' quality
  • Create and execute end-to-end automation workflows, Test Cases and integrate various tools into our automation framework.
  • Develop comprehensive Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports, and conducting thorough component, regression, and validation/verification testing
  • Work effectively in an agile environment, demonstrating excellent organization, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Proactive problem solver with excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems across various platforms.
  • Manage requirements, ensure traceability to test cases, and handle traceability between test cases and bugs.
  • Ensure defects are logged into defect tracking system
  • Work with the Development team to ensure adequate defect fix is done and tested.


What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in automation using Java, Python, or JavaScript (Node JS).
  • 3 Years of experience with JavaScript-based Playwright/Cypress/Appium for Web and Mobile Automation and Postman for API testing.
  • Proficient in the use of tools such as JMeter, Load Runner & Soap UI.
  • Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Extensive experience with accessibility compliance testing and remediation.
  • Experience with cloud services especially AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure Dev-ops and navigating customized software solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organization, facilitation, and team skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects with tight deadlines
  • Analytical, thorough, logical, detail-oriented, team player
