INDOCHINO is looking to hire a Payroll Coordinator with an ambition to learn, grow and evolve with the business. Do you have what it takes to work for an ever-growing, high-pace fashion brand?

The Payroll Coordinator will report directly to the Payroll and Benefits Manager. They will be responsible for supporting all payroll functions while also performing various administrative duties related to employment. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about helping their team be successful and motivated by numbers and accuracy.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee biweekly payroll, including calculating salaries, deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure that changes to employee information, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments, are correctly and promptly reflected in ADP Workforce Now HRIS.
  • Review and confirm timesheets to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal obligations.
  • Provide weekly reports to the Finance team for various reports.
  • Work closely with the Benefits Coordinator
  • Liaise with other departments or functions (People & Culture, Retail, etc.)
  • Stay updated on payroll laws in Canada and US for compliance.
  • Support Payroll and Benefits Manager as required
  • Assist managers and employees with any inquiries and promptly resolve any issues related to payroll in a professional manner.
  • Provide support in the completion of payroll-related audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and payroll records at all times.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and support other functions as assigned.

What We Need From You

  • High school diploma or equivalent; PCP certification or currently seeking certification is an asset.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using payroll management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and US Payroll is an asset.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and timekeeping systems. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in data entry.
  • Numerical and analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and problems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good attitude, willing to learn with a helpful mindset
