We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to support organizational goals. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, managing complex purchasing processes, and ensuring that the company obtains the best possible value for its investments.

- Lead the procurement of goods and services across various categories, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain and reduce overall procurement costs.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess the market for trends and new opportunities, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring high levels of performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulations, including ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and ensure inventory is maintained at optimal levels.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses on procurement activities, expenditures, supplier performance, and cost savings.
- Use data to inform decision-making and provide insights for strategic purchasing decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA or relevant certifications preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier negotiation, and contract management. Familiarity with industrial suppliers a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to arrive at win-win solutions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in procurement software (Netstock) and ERP (Sage X3) systems.
- Advanced skills in utilizing Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau) to analyze data and provide actionable business insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a demanding day-to-day schedule and multiple projects.
