Job Summary

We are a leading global Security Tech company pivotal in shaping industry standards looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of transactional HR Services within Shared Services Center North America to lead our HR operations and implement best practices across the region.

This role is crucial for the transformation of existing transactional HR services, enabling their effective integration into the shared services center portfolio. It ensures alignment with strategic goals and enhances service delivery across the organization. Entrusted with guiding a dynamic team of 8 to 10 professionals, the person in this capacity will be instrumental in refining HR transactional processes and delivering consistent, high-quality support across multiple legal entities in the strategically important regions of the USA and Canada. The ideal candidate will drive the transactional HR Shared Services strategy, setting the direction of benefit and immigration programs and the company’s approach to payroll processing and HR systems, optimizing efficiency and ensuring the delivery of top-notch services. The Head of transactional HR will report to the Head of Shared Services Center North America. The key responsibilities include leading a team to streamline HR processes like payroll and benefits administration, maintaining compliance with legal standards, implementing HR technologies, and managing service delivery to enhance efficiency and support organizational objectives. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the North American transactional HR Shared Services team, ensuring premium standards and operational excellence managing budget and resources in a thoughtful manner
  • Design and implement a shared services management model and service level agreements to ensure reliable, high-quality services in payroll, time management, HR administration (including pensions, recruiting, and training), HR reporting, employee data management, and other assigned HR SSC responsibilities
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that comply with global standards and local regulations
  • Assess and enhance the effectiveness of HR processes, developing technology integrations with IT experts
  • Drive process improvement through standardization, harmonization, automation, and digitalization, ensuring efficient HR service delivery
  • Contribute to the overarching HR strategy by providing transactional insights on policies and guidelines
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Finance Directors, and IT to design innovative HR services that align with organizational and business goals, ensuring efficient system updates and maintenance
  • Lead, inspire, and grow the transactional HR Shared Services team to cultivate a culture of high efficiency and continuous improvement


Qualifications, Experience And Educational Requirements

Work Experience:

  • At least 10 years of HR operations experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role within a transactional HR Services organization

  • Expert knowledge of HR processes, best practices, social insurance, tax laws, and applicable employment regulations (US/CAN) Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
