As a Supply Chain Agent in the Procurement & Supply Chain Aviation division at Bombardier, reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you are responsible for supporting new product development. Within the Strategy et Governance department, your role involves driving strategic initiatives and fostering collaboration to ensure operational excellence.
- Be responsible for all procurement related activities for specific commodities of the various product development phases.
- Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team.
- Track changes through the management process up to the point of implementation.
- Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers.
- Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are provided by suppliers for Procurement and other business unit functions.
- Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity team in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent.
- You have four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in the aerospace industry.
- You possess experience in contract negotiations with suppliers.
- You have experience on development programs (an asset).
- You possess technical knowledge (an asset).
- You have strong analytical skills.
- You possess strong communication skills (French and English).
