Vice President, Finance

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Vice President, Finance will report to the General Manager and will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The VP, Finance will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility of accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic financial planning, manufacturing costing, pricing & deal analysis and oversee the information system management. This position will be based out of Moncton, New Brunswick (220 Harrisville Boulevard, E1H 3N5). This is a permanent, full-time position. The primary language of work is English.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • 10-15 years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in manufacturing and/or consumer goods company
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive employee experience and engagement initiatives that foster a culture of inclusion and belonging
  • Lead finance team members and engage with corporate finance teams to meet all requirements of reporting, forecasting, costing and customer pricing & profitability
  • Provide guidance in establishing pricing strategy and enhance pricing control & reporting
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax & law regulations.
  • Work effectively with senior management team to develop and execute strategic business plans, including analysis and identification of opportunities and performance improvement
  • Attract and retain team members, while establishing a trusting and high-performance environment
  • Learn the business and be able to speak with credibility to all levels within the organization, including the Owner
