Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Audio Visual & Design Services and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital (SBH), the Audio Visual Assistant is responsible for: providing reception and office support services to the Audio Visual department; maintaining the central room booking system for the hospital; providing audio visual support to clients; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience
- One(1) year experience in a customer service or event coordinator role.
- Knowledge of the set up, operation and routine maintenance of various audio-visual equipment.
- Grade 12 or recognized equivalent.
- Keyboarding speed 45 wpm.
- Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of common software including word processing, power point and email applications.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of EMS software.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in digital photography.
- Knowledge of and proficiency of SAP Requisitioning an asset.
- Knowledge of and proficiency of Photoshop an asset.

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
