Assistant Buyer - Retail Accessories - #383399

We are hiring a dynamic and independent Assistant Buyer for our Retail Accessories team. This person will work 20-25 hours per week and this is an permanent hourly role. The ideal location for this role is Kelowna however we may consider teammates based in Niagara on the Lake. Please apply if you live and work in these areas.

As the Assistant Buyer for Retail + Accessories within our Estate Wine Group business unit you will work virtually but be available to visit our Western Canada estates as needed in Kelowna or Oliver. You will work with a national team and assist in the fulfillment of the accessory inventory in store as well as supporting critical points in the supply chain such as purchase order entry for wineries and retail locations. You will be responsible for strategic merchandising both wine and accessories on a weekly basis on estate wineries. You will also be preparing a planogram and maintain strong product knowledge for all BC and Ontario estates and The Wine Shop locations.

You will need to be comfortable -

• Making Purchase Orders
• Dealing with a high level of data entry
• Building reports with data uploads
• Continuously analyzing the movement of inventory on hand at store level.
• Managing a store min /max system for replenished items
• Maintaining work processes including purchase orders, item maintenance, and product knowledge
  
  

You will work closely with –

• The buying team and Estate Retail Managers to establish and communicate buying and delivery schedule and to advise of any issues regarding store maintenance, inventory, and quality issues.
• Our Customer Experience and Marketing teams on signage and other in store needs for retail accessories team.
• The Wine Shop Managers across Ontario
  
  

This role reports to our Senior Buyer and has no direct reports.
