Raise is hiring a Telecommunications Analyst for Our Client, an esteemed educational institution This position is an eight (8)-month contract located in Edmonton, AB. We are actively seeking talented professionals like you to drive these crucial initiatives forward.

Description

The Telecommunications Analyst is needed to work on decommissioning project of Nortel Meridian PBX and migrating required services to Cisco UC VoIP environment. They will support and works with project members to identify in-use lines on PBX and determine appropriate migration path for those lines. Non-used lines are identified and submitted for disconnection by client while active lines are migrated in simple single-line cases and planned for translation to Cisco UC services for more complex cases. Role would perform PBX outs when lines are moved or removed and identify remaining lines on various system remotes and main site.

Qualifications

  • Telecommunications Management Certificate: equivalent education and experience considered.
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical and maintenance experience with Nortel PBX, Cisco VoIP and Cisco Unity Connection Voicemail and Cisco Unified Contact Centre.
  • Familiarity with the University campus would be considered an asset.
  • Computer proficiency using MS office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Google."

Additional Information

  • Role will be office based and candidate will need to be on site 7 hours/day 5 days a week.
  • Possibility of extension for right candidate
