Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

WORK ASSIGNMENT : The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching: SLWK 3086/3087 Sec 01, “Social Work Research”. The course will be offered in the Fall/Winter term, from September 2024-April 2025 . To confirm class times and locations, please refer to the Dalhousie University Academic Timetable. Note this course is part of the BSW program.

The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including preparing and delivering lectures and preparation and grading of assignments. In addition, the part-time academic should expect to be engaged in course preparations for one-two months preceding course delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements Of Position

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION : Knowledge of research methods, applied research practices, and statistics. A Master of Social Work degree, or higher, and previous teaching experience is preferred.

Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
