Dawson International Truck Centres is looking for a Branch Manager who demonstrates exceptional people leadership skills, coupled with meticulous planning and organizational expertise, to consistently achieve company objectives.

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson International Truck Centres, working in a full-time, permanent position of Branch Manager, reporting to the VP of Operations. The Branch Manager is a key strategic and leadership role with proven business experience and the ability to develop and manage change. Your base location will be Williams Lake, BC and may require some travel throughout our great province.

What Success Looks Like

  • Oversee all dealership operations including Service, Parts, and Administration.
  • Empower, engage, coach and mentor to create a culture and processes which achieve the short and long - term business goals and objectives.
  • Lead and develop strategic plans to drive profitability.
  • Establish and maintain a proactive, ongoing and engaged dialogue at all levels of the organization, and with customers, vendors, etc.
  • Promote Dawson's Core Values: People, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, the local community, and industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all external and internal regulations and standards.
  • Promote a safe and equitable work environment focused on customer service.

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Dealership leadership role or equivalent experience in Parts Sales and/or Service Sales is an asset
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Understanding lean management principles or training is an asset.
  • Proven record of hiring, training, and retaining team members.
  • Desire to execute Best in Class business results.
  • Ability to create and implement change management strategies.
  • Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the relevant markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and employees.
  • Ability to coach, motivate and communicate with others at all levels.
  • Proactive problem solver and task oriented
