Description
Our ideal candidate has a background in Agriculture with experience in the Precision Farming/GPS field OR is a University, College or High School Graduate from rural Saskatchewan who has a passion for agriculture and is interested in the cutting-edge technology that drives the Agriculture industry.
**This position can be located out of our Weyburn OR Carlyle dealership.
Core Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the latest and greatest in Farming Technology and Equipment to our customers in their fields at their farms. Including the latest series of Combines, Sprayers and Tractors.
- Organizing customer clinics and information sessions on new equipment and technology.
- Provide customer orientations on new and used equipment purchases.
- Attend product training - continuously learning and staying up to date on the latest features, changes and advancements within the industry.
- Provide support on the Precision Farming Products sold within the dealership, both in person, service calls, and over the phone.
- Install and calibrate autosteer, rate controllers, and other automated features on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair autosteer, rate controllers, wiring, and other automated features on machinery and equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Knowledge of and a passion for the Agriculture Industry.
- Understanding of the sense of urgency within the Agriculture Industry.
- A strong desire to continuously learn about and teach the features of new equipment and technology available within the industry.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and good understanding of the importance of superior customer service.
