Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team at their manufacturing site in Huddersfield. Production on site include some of the UK's best loved names in the UK's market and we're proud to be working with these award-winning industry leaders who's brands are well known.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be a key team player within the Engineering team, in this fast-paced environment you will support the engineering manager to ensure that all repairs, breakdowns and general maintenance work is carried out.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will also hold responsibility for all associated PLC/Fault Finding and associated paperwork.

Key Responsibilities Of An Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Carry out Breakdown Repairs
- PLC/Fault Finding
- General maintenance work
- To operate in line with all H&S Standards and the implementation and adherence to safe working practices in accordance with legislation
- Maintain maintenance monitoring
- To co-ordinate the workload and maintain planned work including PPM and improvement work
Circa £40,000 Monday - Thursday 6.45am - 5pm
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays

- Training opportunities Skills required to be an Electrical Design Engineer :
- Self-starter with a pro-active approach and desire to learn
- PLC/Fault Finding experience
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Can do attitude with a strong work ethic
- Able to operate as part of a team and build effective business relationships
- Ability to communicate and build strong working relationships across functions
- Multi-tasker
- Good presenting skills
- High levels computer literacy
