In this role, you will be responsible to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the company fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections and prescribing the correct remedial action.   • Pay Rate: $55/hour

  • Location: Langley, BC

  • Shifts: Monday - Friday

  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the fleet.

  • Diagnose problems found during inspections

  • Prescribe the appropriate remedial actions in a timely manner

  • Support and mentor Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship

Qualifications:

  • A Red Seal Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor Technician

  • Experience working on tractors and trailers as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic

  • Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities are crucial

  • Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are mandatory

  • Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers

  • Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship

  • Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry)

  • Ability to work unsupervised

  • Valid BC Driver's License

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
