Description

The ideal candidate will be self-starting, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and outgoing personality.

We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to compliment our existing team. As our legal receptionist you will have direct communication with clients in person, via e-mail, telephone and through our client management systems. Having a pleasant manner when greeting, screening and forwarding telephone calls is required.

Your responsibilities would be as follows (not limited to):

Ensuring doors are unlocked and locked as appropriate
Answering, screening and transferring calls as appropriate
Offering clients refreshments, setting up for meetings as appropriate
Mail - pickup, filing, sorting and distributing
Ensuring the public areas of the office are kept presentable and tidy
Inventory and ordering of office supplies
Client file management
Maintaining calendar appointments
General assistance, addressing letters, copying, scanning, faxing, etc.
Accounting - taking payments, receipting, etc.

The ideal candidate will be confident with Windows operating system and proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Shawn Patenaude Law offers a four day work-week. Wage commensurate with experience and skills but start will range $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 (per year) (approx hourly $24.00 - $27.00), based on inclusion of a paid day off.
