VIDA is seeking a full time Accounts Payable Clerk to help us achieve our ambitious growth objectives by providing accurate and critical data to our accounting team, and maintaining excellent relationships with our vendors.

The Role:

As the Accountant, some of your primary responsibilities include:

• Process a high volume of invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently
• Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data for multiple properties
• Support the accounts payable process by ensuring that all bill payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Communicate with our suppliers in an effort to manage discrepancies between supplier invoices and company issued purchase orders
• Build positive vendor and customer relationships, and maintain up to date contact information
• Receive and verify expense reports; reconcile expenses and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
• Support payment of vendors

What you need to succeed in this role:

• Previous experience with accounts payable processes
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
• Previous experience with ERP Systems is an asset
• Aptitude for technology, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite & related programs
• Methodical mindset, ability to approach tasks with precision & careful logic
• High level attention to detail & strong time management
• Ability to focus & meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Desire to solve problems & search for missing puzzle pieces
• Instinctual need to find ways to stay productive & boost efficiencies
