Description:
Working under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor the Warehouse Associate will work as part of a team to ensure the proper receipt, storage and distribution of tools, material and equipment all while adhering to Telecon's Health and Safety Policies.
The shift times for this position is Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Assist in maintaining organization of warehouse space
- Ensure order accuracy
- Pick, pack, receive & restock material and equipment
- Maintains/assists with inventory controls and cleanliness of warehouse
- Operate forklifts
- Assist with pickups, and loading of equipment based on project needs
- Affix and identify labels and/or shipping information
- Work in a safe manner and adhere to Health & Safety guidelines
- Utilize computerized inventory systems
- Other duties as required
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- 2-5 years prior shipping/receiving experience preferred
- Fork lift license (Raymond Reach and/or counter balance) considered an asset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent problem solver with the ability to identify alternative and practical solutions
- Strong team player, self-motivated, proactive thinker, flexible and adaptable
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills with proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail.
